Organising Committee
BPD 2010 is organized by Marta Indulska, Selma Limam Mansar and Michael Rosemann.
Marta Indulska is a Senior Lecturer at the UQ Business School, The University of Queensland (UQ), Brisbane, Australia. She holds a PhD in Computer Science from UQ’s School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering. Her current main research interests lie in the Business Process Management domain, in particular in conceptual modeling, process improvement and process governance/risk/compliance management. Her work has been published in various international conferences and leading journals (e.g. IEEE Transactions of Knowledge and Data Engineering, Information Systems, JAIS, Decision Support Systems, Data and Knowledge Engineering). She is the organization co-chair for the 21st Australasian Conference on Information Systems in 2010, and has successfully organized workshops and conference tracks in the past, as well as having edited associated journal special issues.
Selma Limam Mansar is an Associate Professor of Information Systems at Carnegie Mellon University. Before this, she held positions at Eindhoven University of Technology, the London Metropolitan University and Zayed University (UAE). Her research interests are in business process management (especially re-design), simulation, business-to-business and e-government issues. She published on these subjects in the Journal of Management Information Systems, OMEGA, Computers in Industry and expert Systems with Applications.
Michael Rosemann is Professor and Leader of the Information Systems Discipline at Queensland University of Technology, Brisbane. He also is co-leader of the BPM Group that is one of the five research groups in this Discipline, Michael has a MBA and PhD from the University of Muenster, Germany. Besides more than 150 refereed publications (e.g. MIS Quarterly, JAIS, IEEE TKDE, EJIS, Information Systems, Decision Support Systems), he is the author/editor of seven books and editorial board member of seven international journals. Michael was the General Chair and Program Co-Chair of the BPM 2007 conference and invited keynote speaker at BPM 2008.
